Karell and Phil’s Arabian breeding and training programs are focused on producing exceptional purebred Arabian Western Pleasure, Ranch Pleasure and Trail Horse prospects. Sound, correct, good- minded horses that can be winners in the show ring and kind, loving family horses are sometimes hard to find, but by combining the bloodlines noted for their attractive type, intelligence, trainability and comfortable gaits, it is possible.

Beginning in 2014 they bought their foundation mare, Alizee UA, a Magnum Psyche daughter, bred by Unfettered Arabians in Michigan. She had already produced a lovely daughter by Axis LA, a Regal Actor son. A big, solid black mare with a kind and sensible disposition, Alizee is the perfect broodmare.

Karell and Phil’s training methods follow the old California vaquero methods that Karell was introduced to in her youth and which were refined while they lived on the Santa Margarita Ranch near Paso Robles, California. Phil is a gifted handler and trainer whose easy manner inspires respect and cooperation from young and insecure horses. He has mastered the basics of the Masterson Beyond Horse Massage techniques, which further brings horses into a balanced and mentally relaxed state.
